Program terms
Plain and simple, so everyone knows where they stand. Version 2026-10-21c.
- Commission. You earn 30% (or the rate agreed with you in writing) of every payment each customer you refer makes to GovDirections or RFP Delivery by GovDirections, renewals included, for as long as you stay an active partner (see 6).
- Who counts as your referral. A new customer who signs up within 180 days of using your link. If they use more than one partner’s link, the most recent one gets the credit.
- 30-day hold. Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer’s payment. A refund or chargeback in that time cancels it; a later refund may be deducted from future commissions.
- Payouts. Monthly, straight to your bank through Stripe, with a $25 minimum (smaller amounts roll over). Stripe collects your tax details and issues a 1099 where required.
- Not allowed. Referring yourself or your own company, paid ads on the GovDirections or RFP Delivery name, spam, coupon or deal sites, and misleading claims. Breaking these rules forfeits the related commissions and may end the partnership.
- Staying active. You stay active as long as you refer at least one new customer every 3 months (new partners have 3 months from approval for their first). After 60 days with no new referral your dashboard shows a reminder. After 3 months with no new referral your account expires: your link stops crediting new sign-ups and new payments from your past referrals no longer earn commission. Commissions you have already earned are always paid, and you can ask us to reactivate you.
- Leaving. Either side can end the partnership at any time. Commissions already earned are still paid.
- Changes. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing these terms.
Questions
Does it cost my organization anything?
No. There is no fee, contract or minimum. You can stop at any time.
How and when are commissions paid?
You earn 30% of every payment each customer you refer makes, renewals included, for as long as you keep referring at least one new customer every 3 months. Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment and is paid monthly through Stripe ($25 minimum). See the program terms above.
Can we offer the benefit without taking a commission?
Yes. Some organizations prefer that. Tell us in your application and we’ll set it up that way.
Which members benefit most?
Any business that sells to, or could sell to, government: contractors and subcontractors, suppliers, service firms, transportation, IT, professional services and more.
